An Analysis of Human Sustainability and SDG–3 (With Special Reference to Ayurveda System)

Drawing from interdisciplinary perspectives, many studies have examined how ayurveda system is rooted in preventive, holistic, and individualized care and contribute to sustainable healthcare models and long-term human capital development (Mukherjee, Banerjee, Katiyar, Sharma & Chattopadhyay, 2021; Prajapati, 2024; Nesari, 2022; Nesari, 2023). Research highlights ayurveda’s potential to reduce healthcare costs, enhance workforce productivity, and support resilient communities, aligning closely with global health and sustainability mandates (Nesari, 2023; Nedungadi, Salethoor, Puthiyedath, Kessler & Raman, 2023. This study tries to analyze the different phases in the development of ayurveda system contributing in human sustainability and also this study to evaluate the human sustainability on UN SDG-3 guidelines for an inclusive and culturally adaptive management paradigm.
